Main object of this project is offered a proper tests for verifying parameters of optical systems. Design advance for measuring MTF is the main test of the project .In this project is described the way of analyze results in professional computer software Imatest studio.
Software for DSLR control for use in microscopy
Mokrejš, Jakub ; Janoušek, Oto (referee) ; Čmiel, Vratislav (advisor)
This master's thesis initially deals with a review of cameras used in microscopy, describing their properties and the difference between microscopic and DSLR cameras. Furthermore, it describes the programs used by microscopic cameras for control via a computer. The thesis then defines the technologies used for software development and presents a design of the software's program equipment. The practical part of the thesis first describes the technologies used for software development along with a development diagram. The next section describes the functions that the software uses to communicate with the DSLR camera and introduces the software's graphical user interface. The conclusion of the practical part is devoted to testing the software itself, where it also presents various ways of its control. The test results are then evaluated in the discussion.
DSLR Video and its Impact on the Conventions in Filmmaking
Nuska, Petr ; Získal, Bohuš (advisor) ; Šlerka, Josef (referee)
The thesis deals with the involvement of digital single-lens reflex cameras (DSLR) with video-capturing capacity in documentary and ethnographic film, more particularly, it examines whether and to what extent these genres were influenced by a trend called DSLR revolution. The main contribution of the work is a qualitative analysis of the testimonies of ten filmmakers, who used DSLR cameras while working on their films during the years 2010-2014. The synthesis of this analysis is conceptualised as a reconstruction of the process of decision-making whether to use or not to use a DSLR camera, considering its benefits (affordability, technical and aesthetic qualities, compactness and simplicity) and its limits (ergonomics, visual artifacts, workflow limits). The reconstruction of this decision-making process is considered in the context of specific experiences of the participants and it focuses on the impact of DSLRs on filming workflow and final product. The final chapter deals with the DSLR revolution as a social trend which was stimulated by the influence of online communities of DSLR filmmakers who actively participated in the course of the revolution. Appendix of the thesis contains a brief description of the film projects of all participants and the model of the structured questionnaire used for data...

Manual for taking digital photo
Cerha, Ondřej ; Vynikarová, Dana (advisor) ; Hanzlík, Petr (referee)
In this bachelor thesis, the author deals with issues of creation and taking digital photo. In the theoretical part of the work with the help of specialized literature and other sources are explained principle of creation photos in a digital single lens reflex. There are also described the basic composition rules and exposure parametres, which affect appearance of the final image. In practical part of the thesis is a selection of basic photographic disciplines. The basic settings of digital single lens reflex for the situation are described here. Also there are other principles for taking this type of photo. These procedures are in each chapter shown on own photographs with description of values exposure parameters with wich they were taken.
NIKON Digital Cameras Simulator and Trainer
Sapák, Marek ; Kaluža, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kunovský, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a manual and simulator of a digital camera Nikon D300. These educational materials are meant to be used in education of seniors in the University of Third Age and for people who are interested to buy this camera. Simplicity and a good arrangement are crucial with respect to target users.
